Amazon Users Group Western Visayas Bootcamp 2019

SilverOrbit together with Amazon AWS Users Group Western Visayas Meetup, conducted a bootcamp event which is
held at Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation in Bacolod City.

It was a great one day bootcamp and lucky to have with us, Amazon AWS Philippines Solution Architech, Roms Gapuz.

Audience was introduced to the basic of Amazon Web Services and some hands-on demo about storage, compute and network services
offered by AWS.

Morning session is discussion on how AWS and cloud computing works, on-demand and scalibility designs using cloud infrastructure.
Use case for business using traditional IT procurement versus cloud pay per use was presented.

On the afternoon we did the demo and some hands-on where we can test our create EC2 instances, S3 bucket as website, and samples of
auto-scaling configurations.

All in all it was a successful events, meeting new faces and getting new people work with cloud computing platform.

Last and not the least is the picture taking of the said event, which captures the moments  and knowledge we gained from this
bootcamp.
